Spring Break Countdown…1 Day!

It’s the final day before Spring Break in PCB officially begins.  I’m already down here gettin’ things ready and our team is en route.  Make sure and hit us up if you’re down here…we’ll be out near the Geico and VS tents…come get a free tshirt and hang out for a while!

Spring Break Countdown…4 Days!

Team We Minus Me will be arriving in Panama City Beach on Saturday, March 5th and in honor of this, I thought I’d post some pics from last year’s Spring Break to get everybody stoked!  If you’re going to be in PCB next week…hit us up!  We’ll be giving out free t-shirts, high fives, spray painting people, buying lunch, and praying for people all week…come see us…we normally are right beside Geico next to the volleyball courts!

Stealth Mode…

This just sounds sexy right?  Stealth Mode…say it with me…STEALTH MODE…Nice Job.  So what am I talking about you ask?  Facebook Privacy.  In a day and age where anything is accessible from the internet and people are stealing identities like Rickey Henderson stole bases…you gotta protect yo-self!  Facebook is linked up with over 2 million sites where you can use your same username and password…now that doesn’t sound too Stealth to me.  It seems as if there is always something going on with Facebook privacy issues these days, but here’s an article on how you can go off the grid…you know…Stealth Mode (said in Easy-A voice).  Check it here:

Now I wouldn’t suggest going completely “Me Only” as the article instructs you how to do…because it IS Facebook…I mean the point is to share some things with friends…but I would be very careful what I shared these days with Companies trying to get your information and Jethro McPervert out there stalking all your pictures.  I’ve seen some of the information (cell phone numbers) and pics (scandalous) that my friends post and they could definitely use a lesson in Stealth.  Just like most things, moderation is a good policy here…just allow your friends to see things, make wise choices about your friends, and don’t post stupid stuff!  You’re Welcome.

Where’s the Beef?

The scariest thing to me about this whole thing is not that Taco Bell Meat is only 36% ground beef (because I kinda figured that anyway), but that the USDA only requires substances to be 40% to qualify as “Beef”…that’s frickin’ ridiculous!  Check out the story here:

Like we said in a previous post about not drinking the water, we here at We Minus Me definitely care about our health and that of the students which we serve.  Since Taco Bell is a frequented establishment by many of those who carry the title Collegian, we wanted to give y’all a heads-up on this meat scandal.  Granted, many of young people don’t care what’s in the food they eat, especially between certain hours of the AM, but please take the advice from a couple of dudes that are comin’ in hot on 30…you’ll thank yourself in a matter of years if you just pass it up.  You can pay now, or pay later I always say…I said that once (Zombieland).  Keep some apples and bananas, Clif bars, PB&J, Kashi, etc. at your crib and do that instead…you’ll feel a ton better and be in much better shape in the long run.  Of course if you lightened up on the activities that lead to your 4th Meal Run in the first place, you’d also feel much better and your liver might send you a FB message on your Bday…Just Sayin’.

What a difference a day makes…

This story is unbelievable and one that will blow your mind!  I love second chances, especially when people take advantage of the opportunity!  I don’t know anything about this man’s personal beliefs, but I do know that this is the kind of transformation that God has done in people’s lives throughout history, and continues to do today if we just allow him the opportunity through our faith and obedience.  Check it out here:
